I see Prandelli's showing Mario a great support there ...........what a complete fooking clown.

He is not there to support players or console them really though is he. The national managers job is to pick the squad he thinks will do the business.

It seems a bit cut throat but you can't say he does not have a point.
well yeah I understand, however it seems to me as if Prandelli agrees that Balo deserved to be banned 4 matches.... sorry I don't agree

Fair enough that mate.

I think he did stamp and deserved his ban. What gets me is others getting away with similar acts.
I don't think i have enough info to conclude the Italian national manager agrees with the 4 match ban. Only that he was wrong and he is punishing him in a manner he see's fit.

Hehe you may be right bro, all this Balo stuff i just want done away with and for him to keep on as he has been trying to (bar the stamp) recently.

Then we can marvel at one of the few players who could rival Messi in the jaw dropping pieces of play stakes.

I hope he just sees this as you see it also, some sort of extention for his naughty and he understands that so it does not irk him to much.

GOALKEEPERS: Gianluigi Buffon (Juventus), Morgan De Sanctis (Napoli), Salvatore Sirigu (Paris St. Germain/FRA), Emiliano Viviano (Palermo).

DEFENDERS: Ignazio Abate (AC Milan), Davide Astori (Cagliari), Federico Balzaretti (Palermo), Andrea Barzagli (Juventus), Leonardo Bonucci (Juventus), Giorgio Chiellini (Juventus), Domenico Criscito (Zenit St. Petersburg/RUS), Christian Maggio (Napoli), Angelo Ogbonna (Torino).

MIDFIELDERS: Daniele De Rossi (Roma), Claudio Marchisio (Juventus), Riccardo Montolivo (Fiorentina), Thiago Motta (Paris St. Germain/ITA), Antonio Nocerino (AC Milan), Andrea Pirlo (Juventus).

FORWARDS: Fabio Borini (Roma), Sebastian Giovinco (Parma), Alessandro Matri (Juventus), Giampaolo Pazzini (Inter Milan)

It used to be very unusual for foreign based players to be picked. Rossi at Villareal was the exception for a long time but I see Sirigu, Criscito and Motta are now included so maybe there is a change in thinking.

'He (Balotelli) still seems a little agitated to me,' Prandelli said. 'When I say we have to reach the European Championship prepared, I mean I don't want to get there with a squad who don't know how to manage tension and provocation.

'I don't want to see players who at the first sign of difficulty commit fouls and get sent off, leaving their teammates to struggle with 10 men. So we have a few months to think about it.'

prandelli and mancini have got their heads together imo

Prandelli has said from the start he's not calling up players who have disciplinary issues, he did the same with De Rossi earlier in the year, and Cassano during his fallout with Sampdoria. So it's only right for him to do the same thing here.

Balotelli will surely be picked for the Euro's.
