balo dissent again?

I think it's inverted racism here. Shrek has the same atttitude but as he's "Englands greatest striker" it's ignored but a black italian at a club owned by those nasty arabs is easy prey for refs/media alike.

No racism in it at all. I think he's behaved like a complete knob at times since joining. His race has no bearing on that whatsoever.

just because no racist opinions are expressed doesn't mean prejudice and raw xenophobia plays no part in this.

people can't help themselves.

we all view the actions of people through the prism of our own prejudices.

he's acted like a bit of a fuckwit at times, but the over-reactions he attracts are laughable.... or troubling, can't make my mind up.

i end up with an image of certain posters staring at him like he is an alien.

the boy is a bell end with serious mental health problems with no heart when he plays on the pitch and has no respect for this football club or anybody within the team or the club.he has got a lot of work to do imo if he is to fulfil his talent but i dont think he has it in him at this moment in time, his ego is way to big.
Im starting to think its not ego, but mental problems. Its something we dont usually talk about in football, but some of his behaviour even at Inter just cant be rationalised with him being bellend. Its like if things are quite he gets an urge to be destructive. His cameo against Chelsea last season in the CL is one of the weirdest thing I have seen in football

are you sure you know what you are talking about.

are you sure you dont have got enough shit on yourself ?

FFS mat, have a minute mate. The guys a fkin bellend, Black, White, pink with Yellow spots on, he needs to grow up and damn fast, we have had 30plus years of mostly shite, if we get to say the cup final and have a great chance of winning, the last thing we need is a spoilt brat reducing us to ten men half an hour into the game, he needs to give his a head a shake and fkin GET AT IT. No racism involved mate.

Perfectly accurate.

Some Italian fans might be racist, but some British media elements love nothing more than kicking johnny foreigner when it comes to football here.

Capello/England manager.

He is a kid who has yet to feel any type of warmth or affection from the game.

His booking yesterday is a case in point. A myth is and has been propogated.

Balotelli did nothing more than tangle legs, did not react to the provocation of the opposition, walked off.

The referee then was able to equate Balotelli in the incident and the booking came soon after.

Ferguson would already have already planted his seed that one of his players was being victimised and receiving unwarranted attention.

Balo's own personality traits in no way help him, but the best thing he can do is utilise the criticism

Smash a hat-trick against Villa or Blackpool and listen to the hyprocritical cunts spout how great he is, but then caveat it 'He's a hothead who doesn't work hard for the team, so what he scored three goals?'
Thing is Tolmie I havent heard a peep about this from the press yet (not read todays papers). Like you I thought the booking was harsh to say the least and no doubt was based on his rep, but it's the shit that is so easy to cut out of his game that lets him down.

Maybe, just maybe the reason for the press not commenting on it is that the incident was something and nothing and that it's a section of City fans who are stirring all the shite?

All this talk of him having mental health issues would be hilarious if it wasn't for the fact that the posters actually seem to mean it! Get a fucking grip.

I watched the game couldn't believe his booking, for me he did nothing to warrant it. Having said all this I think most people would accept the flaws in his personality if he was delivering on the pitch. I've seen glimpses but nothing sustained. I suspect he will move to AC in the summer. It certainly looks like he has an attitude problem.

Yep.

It'll be interesting to see how the closet/overt xenophobia towards foreign owners (anglosphere owners seem to get a pass - Glazers, Ellis etc) will be affected if the rags are bought by Qatar.

Although it would represent a huge new challenge for us football-wise, in an off-the-pitch sense it could really good for us.

Realise I've kind of jumped from racism towards Balo to racism towards the owners here but they're really two sides of the same distasteful coin.
