Balo now December?

I always thought they were being optomistic after the op he had, december seems about right to me.

Mario Balotelli believes he is six to eight weeks away from a first-team return so could be back for Manchester City's Europa League clash with Juventus in mid-December.

The 20-year-old striker is hoping to recover from knee surgery by the end of November after successfully undergoing the operation on 8th September.

And Balotelli, a £24million signing from Inter Milan in the summer, intends to build up enough fitness so he can force his way into Roberto Mancini's plans for the game in Turin.

And the City marksman, who netted on his debut in the Europa League clash against FC Timisoara before picking up the injury, has set his sights on the 16th December showdown with the Serie A giants.

On the ailment, the Italy international confirmed: "It's going to be around six to eight weeks."

Balotelli's injury has allowed the Palermo-born frontman to immerse himself in English life and the young striker is content with living in Manchester.

He added: "It's OK, I'm calm about it."

City's corresponding fixture against Juventus is this Thursday when they host the Italian outfit at Eastlands.

Pity, we'd be knackered if Tevez gets injured, Jo and RSC won't frighten any opposition

Luckily Carlos is flying at the moment and hopefully Ade will want to prove a point.

It's better to make sure he's fully fit rather than start a Torres type run of 2 games/injury/2 games/injury etc.

The worry is that the timescales are getting further away each time. I bet the next one says Christmas.
