He's an alternative kind of player to Tevez and Aguero though. We can't have only one option of attack.

Balotelli will be fine as long as we don't rely on him so much.

Let's say for arguments sake that Tevez stays, we sell Dzeko and Guidetti returns from loan.

We then have a main pairing of Aguero and Tevez and when we want to rest one or they pick up an injury we use one of Balotelli or Guidetti, dependant upon the opposition. Given the number of games we'll have in a season, Balotelli and Guidetti will get plenty of playing time but we won't have to rely on them for too many of the big matches. Basically, as youngsters, we ease them into the team.

The problem this season was that Tevez was in Argentina and Dzeko lost form, so we relied on Balotelli as Aguero's partner, or up front by himself.
