Not sure about that last sentence. Many saw his potential last year. Should be rotating with Aguero and Dzeko regularly. Each getting 2 games out of 3.

It's been a strange 14 months from Balo since he signed, not many people doubt his ability but we have only seen glimpses of his supreme talent.
One thing that hasn't helped imo is that he is yet to have a run of games playing in his true position, up front.
Even yesterday it took Sergio's injury for him to be released to the centre and for that first half hour he contributed very little - then lo and behold he has a stormer when moved central.
Sure a statto will put me right if required but I'd guess he's never even played 2 consecutive games starting as a striker?
