I have seen no evidence of this great potential. He did well in the cup semi and final but wasnt outstanding, was awful last weekend. I'm obviously missing something as i keep hearing he's a massive talent but...I know the but but dont get the former. Winding up the rags a wembley was class though and his one redeeming feature :)
Watch him tear Busquets a new one against spain this week. You know the guy who Barca used to replace Yaya.
Yep. I'm absolutely tired of people saying the maligned talent of Balotelli has been latent since/prior to his move to Manchester. If Rooney did what he did, he'd be the best young talent in the world. He's already a very good striker. We just have to wait and see whether he can truly be world class. He more than likely will be.

Christ, when I thought the paranoia on here couldn't get any worse, someone accuses the press of being racist. Officially heard it all now.
The racism that's shown in the press is a nuance that only the more astute people usually understand. I thought the person who originally posted "Ricster" was showing real perceptiveness in stating so.
However, I won't try to sway yours or anyone else's opinion because if you don't understand it now, you probably never will.
No, I know what racism is, I'm not as dumb as you think. But accusing the press of being racist is just plain stupid, especially considering Balotelli's behaviour even BEFORE he joined us:
He drove into a women's prison to 'have a look around'
Kicked a Swedish U21 player when he was on the floor, and sat on the pitch when he was sent off
Woke up in Brescia town centre arse naked while having a shower in the town centre fountain after a night-long bender
Threw tomatoes at a Serie A manager
Brought water balloons with him to a team meeting whilst still at Inter.
These are just some of the instances he was criticised for while in Italy. The fact is, he had a track record before he joined us. As everyone knows, controversy sells papers, so the press are obviously going to focus on a guy that moved to this country with all this on him already. Looking at his antics in Italy, it could be argued his behaviour has improved dramatically while in Italy.
So before you try patronising me concerning racism, learn the story. Opportunistic journalism, yes. Racist? Certainly not.
