Balotelli - I want to make history with City

Though I would love it if this were true, I just think this was put out by his PR guy. It doesn't seem like a Balotelli quote, and it's highly suspect his guy sent this as a statement to calm down all of the doom mongers.

My only problem with the guy is that he's got to realise it's not good enough only to be about as rash or slightly more rash, than the average Premier League player. He's a marked man and he's not English so he's got to behave better than average in order to receive only an average amount of bookings. It's not fair but that's the reality.

Woaaaaaaah there fella.

Shall we just ask ourselves a couple of questions about that highlighted bit.

Why ask the national manager for help and not his own manager?

Is it because he no longer trusts or wants to engage with his club manager?

Could that be because his clubs manager has behaved in a way that means they have no relationship to speak of?

He's already making history at city for the wrong reasons!

no matter what he says, i still feel he's going to let us all down without something again.

if he doesn't do anything controversial from now till the end of the season, my faith in him will be restored.

I like Balotelli.

I he looks like he has bags of talent. His attitude can be debated all day.

There isn't many 20 year old who have the talent he has, and to get rid/judge him at such an early point in his career is just unfair. There are older players who lose there heads from time to time, fuck me, Paul Scholes has made a career out of 'not being able to tackle', Rooney ran about booting people for the first few seasons of his career when he didn't get his own way and Drogba only turns it on when it suits.

People are willing to give other time to settle, yet Balotelli is expected to be the dogs bollocks straight away.

I don't ever remember rooney or Drogba saying as soon as they came 'only Messi is better than me'

If he wants to talk the talk, which i love by theway, he has to start walking the walk. And by walk i don't mean walking down the tunnel after another red card.

i'm not commenting on him, the manager or anyone else until the end of the season. 8 games and a semi-final left to play(hopefully a final) we'll soon see what they are made of
