Well if he'd just knuckle down and be the left-back we all hope he can be then there'd be no problem would there? At the moment though he's shown no signs of living up to Martin Petrov in that department so he may as well just go now.

before this thread goes completely off the point, I think we do need to look at how we can keep the shirts up do date - for our children's sake.
I think the idea of the blue flashing L.E.D sign is a good one, though suspect the poster did not really consider the implication of the added weight on our players and fans ability to remain upright during the game - Add to that the tricky question of battery pack location and I think this is a dud.
My preferred option has to be the velcro - though rather than an entire name we could go for individual letters. This could then be arranged as one sees fit for each game - perhaps we could have a half-time anagram competition with prizes for the best.
For starters, I have had the following printed on my childrens shirts for tonight

(I'm a little worried about the emerging sheep theme, though...)
