Balotelli or Guidetti

Guidetti.

Balotelli does not bother himself to play!! I'm sure Guidetti will have strong desire to prove his worth to the coach and us fans...

Guidetti, Balotelli has had plenty of chances to prove himself and it looks like he just doesn't care, thats what upsets me, that he has had the backing of fans, the manager and everyone at City and he just looks like he couldnt care less, its time to give Guidetti a go

According to Goal.com Guidetti is now in full training with City again? Can anyone confirm this?

Give Guidetti a chance, if I were him I would be on the phone saying give me at least 2 games to show that I can put in a better shift than Mario.

And who would he be phoning

Honestly, Guidetti.

Who is more talented? Balotelli.

Guidetti's attitude is phenomenal. It really impresses me so much. That's exactly the attitude you want players to have. He reminds me a little bit of Rooney, with his short stocky build and fantastic work-rate. Knowing how hard Guidetti will work and his dedication and love for the club, I really hope we give him a chance.

That's not all, Guidetti is a very good player. Just look at the goals he scored last season in Holland at such a young age. People laugh and say it's a mickey mouse league.. nonsense. He scored a hat trick against Ajax at age 20. Yes, the same Ajax who embarrassed us in Holland.

Balotelli.. meh, what hasn't been said already? I just don't think he's that interested in football. Obviously he likes the game, but I don't see football being his life. I don't see football being the main priority in his life. To be a world class striker, it needs to be. Contrasts with Guidetti and football is his everything. You hear about stories about the hard work Ronaldo did (staying behind training etc.).. how many stories do you hear like that about Balotelli? None.

It's a shame because, on talent alone, Balotelli has potential to be a world class striker. Mentally, he's not there. And never will be. He's a good player, we've seen that even this season against Wigan and 1st half against Man Utd, but Balotelli will never be a consistent world class striker for a top European side. Who can HONESTLY say they think Mario will be a big success here and score 30+ goals consistantly over a few years?

I like what I've seen so far of Guidetti and I think we'll regret not giving him a chance.

Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert targets Manchester City forward John Guidetti to bolster his forward line

Lambert, the Aston Villa manager, will enter the January chase to sign the Sweden international for the rest of the season, with old mentor Martin O'Neill likely to prove one of his main competitors.
Guidetti signed a long-term contract at the Etihad Stadium in October and will be fully fit in the New Year after recovering from a virus that left him with paralysis in his right leg.

The 20 year-old is highly regarded by Roberto Mancini but is still waiting to make his first Premier League appearance for the champions..
Lambert had Guidetti scouted extensively during his loan spell at Feyenoord last season, where the youngster scored 20 goals in 23 appearances for the Dutch club.

And he will attempt to persuade Mancini that moving to Villa for four months will help Guidetti's progression as he bids to become a regular at Manchester City, though Sunderland and Galatasaray are also interested.
Despite the emergence of £7 million signing Christian Benteke, Villa remain one of the lowest scorers in the league and could be without Darren Bent for another four weeks with a hamstring injury.
Lambert has been assured of funds for the transfer window by chairman Randy Lerner and is also in the market for another centre-half, with doubts over the long-term fitness of Richard Dunne.
Villa will also look to offload fringe players including Alan Hutton and Stephen Warnock to lower their wage bill. Bolton are negotiating over an extension to Warnock's loan deal, with the defender's initial spell ending this weekend.
