No brainer! ( and I'm not talking about Mario!) The Beast all day , top attitude, work rate and end product! No sulking, posing, tantrums, team player, busts a gut, doesn't go down like a gunshot victim if looked at... I could go on!
Negredo complements the team out wonderfully , look at that simple lay off for Yaya for Aguero's goal, and his majestic turn and shot for his goal ( while getting a hand in the face in the process, Mario would've gone down clutching his face).

Interesting and surprising to me there are still some who think Mario could be the best player in the world. Not even close for me and now he is missing penalties his value to a team has gone down even further. Are Milan in the bottom half of their league?

Did well tonight and scored a very good goal.

Wow well done him he scored the 3rd in a win at Celtic. It's not that he isn't a good footballer because he is but just nothing like the world superstar that he thinks he is. And yes occasionally he does something special and has really good game but come on he isn't that good a player to be anywhere near to being one of the best players in the world.I wouldn't have him in the top 50. Not sure if Negredo would be either but I would have him before Mario every time.

I was and still am a big Balo fan but he's a luxury car owner too young to actually have a license and drive the thing. He has all the talent in the world but has yet to put it together on a consistent basis. City was the perfect place to apply it but it was start/stop, wanted to go back home still a star and still potentially be the focal point, took goals from SES after the move last season and now AC Milan are regressing and he isn't scoring as many goals.

Negredo is coming from Sevilla where he was the dominate focal point and scored a lot of goals and is taking a slightly reduced roll as he now has rotation and Aguero to play off of and he still cannot stop scoring.

Negredo knows how to put everything together and maximize his talents.

Balo still has a lot of maturing to do to be considered better than Negredo as does have time on his side bug right now Beast > Balo.


Ps. Put Negredo in Balo's position during the title winning goal and I think he would make that same pass as well.

Same. He played well and showed a lot maturity leading the line last night but what's done is done.

Dead right...and we'd have had a free kick outside the box for his troubles.

Some of the Beast's layoffs and assists are a thing of beauty. The only Balotelli assist I recall is for THAT goal - the fact it was for THAT goal makes him special to us but when comparing them - Negredo in a heartbeat.
