Balotelli Quotes-Italian Media Lying.

I don't like the City I work in either. If I had my way, I'd be in San Francisco on the West Coast. No biggie. Will still do my job though :)

I translated the video yesterday. The captions are wrong. It's on page 26 or 27 of the other balotelli thread. Sorry I can't link it, I'm new to this.

Apparently the AC Milan president has been quotes saying they are in the process of buying two premier league players and one of them is Mario.

Abserloutly gutted if that's true and we lose him.

I really hope so but considering it turned out that the Italian media wasn't lying as suggested by the post title I'm worried that he's on his way out.

Just wanted to point out that the captions on that video are incorrect. It actually goes:

Interviewer: Do you not find yourself well there?
Balo: I don't like the city but it's OK. Everything can't always be perfect. The city is not exactly to my taste, but it's OK.
Interviewer: Do you think you'll stay there until your contract expires?
Balo: I dont know, I don't know [At this point interview is edited] Milan is a great team, one day we may be able to talk... maybe even with Inter, I don't know.
Interviwer: You'd go back to Inter?
Balo: Now I'm at Manchester. I'm happy at Manchester. In the future, we'll see.

Completely blown out of proportion by the press, as per usual.

Sorry I didn't know it was against the rules to repeat quotes by the AC Milan president!

Next time why don't you try reading a different post if you don't like it or maybe even another forum if you don't want to hear transfer rumors! FFS!

It's just speculation as far as I can see, but he's left the door wide open.

I'd like to think it's just a bit of naivety, but sometimes these things are more serious. Raiola has been known to orchestrate 'accidents'. The coincidence of these comments following Tevez's attack on the city is hard to take. Even if we take his comments at face value I still find the whole thing (in particular the openness with which the comments were delivered) worrying and more than a little hurtful.

It'd be easy to clear up, wouldn't it. 'I'm sorry if I hurt anyone's feelings. There is nothing wrong with Manchester. I'm just a young guy who gets a little home sick. Mancini has staked his reputation on me, and the club have put a lot of faith in me. It's time to repay them'.

Chances of that?

Dont forget that footballers cant treat manchester the same as people going out for a jolly on the town ?? ask any 20 year old in manchester what they like about it and they will say " i like going out pubbing & clubbing getting plastered and getting chatted up or chatting someone up maybe even getting a bit of hows yer father"...

What would we say if that was his reply ?? :)

He's a bit of a prisoner in a strange place and is limited in the things he can actually do and for a 20 year old it cant be easy...

Maybe some on here will think before laying into our players, no matter who it is but especially Mario, in future - i doubt it though...

No smoke without fire matey. What he said is what is being quoted..So he doesn't like Manchester.I love it but hey ho...

I'm thinking it's AC trying to orchestrate something but it's a tactic which so often works.

Hear fucking hear.

I've been staggered by the amount of people on here who've not only believed all the shite written about Mario but then gone on to slag him off.

So as expected it was mere mischief making by the press.

But they got what they wanted, the reaction from some was particularly embarrassing.
