In a word, no. I've never loved him full stop really

He's a decent striker who, if was called Mike Smith and had a normal haircut and wasn't son rucking stupid, no one really give a monkeys about.

L'pool are defiantly weaker having replaced Suarez with Balotelli

Balotelli is not Suarez replacement and only Ronaldo, Messi, Mueller, aguero, or Falcao could be "replacements".

He is effectively replacing him in the team.

It will be exciting for the Premiership to have him back, but football wise I think it will disrupt your game.

26 goals in 43 League appearances for AC Milan. Looks good, but the forward line was built around him, and I'd guess around 10 of them were penalties.

I don't think he was an unmitigated failure at AC Milan, but they have had a couple of very poor seasons. Last season they finished 8th, outside of Europe in what is a very weak League. Is that because of Balotelli, or has it hindered Balotelli? Hard to say unless you've been paying close attention.

What are his strengths?

Strong. Great shot. Good target man. Great technique. Good in the air. Big game player. Great penalty taker

Weaknesses

Lack of pace. Workrate in the majority of games is non-existent. He wont make runs off the ball to take defenders away from the other forwards. Very selfish player

Would I have him at City? Absolutely not. We were lucky AC Milan came in for him. I liked the character, but by the time he'd left, I'd already got fed up with him as a footballer.

I'm amazed Liverpool have gone in for him.

Agreed with all of that
His greatest weakness though is petulance which he can't control it's in his makeup You'd have to be Freud to understand him and Rodgers is no Freud
Maybe the petulance has improved a bit. He seems OK when I've watched him play for Italy.

His main weakness is just his sheer inconsistency. The moments of brilliance just don't compensate for so many poor games. And when he's poor he's very, very poor

Yeah Mancini, Mourinho and so on were not good enough only Brenda the messiah is capable of sorting Balo out.

Perhaps now he's a father Brenda will think he' s all about the family aswell ! Dipper pool will soon have another loon on their hands. 4th major club at such a young age tells the story.
