Mario Balotelli will adhere to Liverpool's 'intensive' code of conduct, says manager Brendan Rodgers

Like Suarez did, Brendan?

Balotelli will break the rules from the get go. Doesn't matter what it is. Then Brendan has a decision to make. He can discipline Balotelli and cause Mario to pout, then his form will drop so badly that he's basically useless. Or he can excuse it like Mancini frequently did, alienating the squad and encouraging Mario to do it again.

The love fest will last until the 2nd or 3rd red card. The first one will be excused as ref bias against Mario/Liverpool.

Yada yada, we've seen it before

Apparently Brenda likes his players to train hard... he's gonna have a shock when Mario turns up!

So much talent and I thought he would be the best striker in the world by this time, but I was wrong. I don't have any faith in him anymore and don't think Rodgers is the right man to get the best out of him. I saw a comment about how Balotelli lacks pace, but that is not the case. He is reasonably fast, but just never sprints and likes to play at too slow a pace.

Saw some of the press-conference with Rodgers talking about Mario's behaviour.

He said something about Candlepool being a special club and Mario's must stay in line.

Well if you're that worried, why buy him?

Fucking idiots!

"Special club" has usurped "doing things the right way" in the lexicon of banal, trite statements surrounding Liverpool Football Club. It smacks of supreme arrogance: 'we're better than other clubs'.

Well you're fucking not and there's plenty of examples, some of them tragic, which underline my point.

That's what I don't understand this 'special club' nonsense.

Every single football fan thinks their club is special that's why we love them.

OK the rags and scousers have won more trophies but even when we were complete bobbins in the third tier I wouldn't swap a quid for a season ticket anywhere else.

Think Brenda gets of on bad boy footballers ones out the door another comes in! The hoof up to Balotelli with him trying win a free kick won't work though the referees never gave him any benefit if the doubt at city and the one time they did he got trial by media and was banned

Of course everyone thinks their club is special - and to them it is - that's sort of the point.

The difference is no other club, even including united, drones on to the point of utter tedium about it, like those associated with Liverpool. Anyone would think they didn't have any skeletons in the cupboard.....

I still have a massive soft spot for Mario. He was a liability at times but he helped us win the league & for his performance in the 6-1 & his pass to Sergio for the goal against QPR I will always be grateful.

Good luck to him, but I'm gutted he will play for the dippers. I fucking hate them.
