People keep saying, "Let's ask for £28m" but he isn't worth that. We paid £22m on him based on potential and in 2 and a half years he hasn't proved his worth, so how is he going to be worth £28m now? As long as we make sure Milan pay the £22m we did, then we should be happy.

It seems some here want the fee to represent a hypothetical future value of Mario.
I think 22mil sounds good considering what Mario offers to us.

When negotiating you NEVER ask for the price you want first you start high then get a middle ground on a fee! Thought most people new this ;)

Nobody on the transfer forum is actually in negotiations with Milan, they are just stating what would be a good fee. Thought most people KNEW this ;)

I think his baby living in Naples Italy will play a major part in where Mario decides to play his football.

I have thought about this myself, visits to Naples visiting supposed mafia, fanatical fans looking for a new messiah and Cavani saying he may want to leave = Ballotelli + £20mill....who knows!!!

As much as I support Mario who i think has had terrible stick from the paper over next to fuck all, and also off some of our fans, `d be more than happy to do that swap cavani is the goalscorer we lack imo

In my opinion Balotelli at his best is better then Dzeko or Tevez on their best days but the problem is we very rarely get to see it! If we get 22 plus mil for him i would let him go. The same goes for Dzeko, i know he is scoring this year but most of his goals have been tap in the anyone could finsh. If we sell them both and promote super John we could activate Falcao release, giving us 4 good strikers and summer I would sell Tevez and and bring someone like Benteke or Lukaku.

why is it that in this transfer forum people talk about the players we haven't got as being great compared to the ones we have, selling dzeko and tevez and promoting super john and buying benteke would hardly make us stronger.

The spurs one he hit at the goalie did he not?! If i recall real the fulham one was a smash they could have when anywhere on another day. I rate Dzeko but not as much as Falcao. Dzeko is a great player but we dont seem to play to his strenghts he was a beast at wolfsburg but for me the EPL has been a shock from him he doesnt battle or fight as much. Benkete has scored 10 in 22 this year Tevez is 8 in 14 Dzeko is 11 in 29 Falcao is 22 in 21 and Mario is 3 in 15. To be honest with those changes the goal per game stats are alot better as well as making abit of money in the window tevez i think will run down his contract and walk for free i would rather sell him in the summer and replace him.
