Okay, I`ll admit to being incredibly stupid here but what is it with bananas and the UEFA cup? Why are they providing bananas? Is it just a tradition or what?

I'm not sure the history behind it but i'm sure it has no significance to the UEFA Cup as they have been used in all competitions.

Its cos the Club do read the fans forum's, and picked up on something that was being discussed... They want to try and create a good atmosphere for the biggest game in a decade...
