Some dance acts do it. I rememeber Groove Armada doing some song with Will Young or Mutha from the Sugar babes if not both all most certain both.

Saying that Japanese Popstars got a album out with singers from bands from all over the UK and Ireland. I think they had Robert Smith of the Cure , Lisa Hannigan and Tom Smith from The Editors all taken part in that album for them.
