while technically it's illegal for bars to be open past 3 am here, yeah Dubai Blue's right it won't take a lot of looking.
Pickled Liver might even be open, i dunno. if so, it's a fun place. between Asok and Nana (the sleaze district of Sukhumvit basically) there are lots of places catering to foreigners and you're bound to find a place. there also will be lots of places around Kao San road that'll likely have the game on. sadly, i'll be asleep as i have to be at work at 7.30 and i'm just barely recovered from a massive stomach virus (so I NEED to sleep, no choice).
i live near "town in town" for those that know bangers, and the guys at the local isaan place (called Yaso team i believe) know me as a City fan as i've watched a few games there--they shout "Man Citee!" at me when i walk by in the afternoon! i know i provided them with a great deal of (unintentional) comedy, especially during that Fulham debacle.
if anyone watches in a bar or pub do post in this thread where you went, for future reference.

A great mate of mine from schooldays has a pub called the Queen Victoria (no shit) in Bangkok an' he used to be a professional musician. He had his own band an' one of his albums was entitled "Born Blue" with a photo of him inside Maine Road in the inner notes. I guess he'll have a few supporters in the pub with him but either way any Blues visitin' B/K could go an' see him - name's Keith an' he'd love to see you.
