Barca Vs Milan

Well over-rated that Mourinho guy isn't he? PMSL.

He is a fantastic manager I dont deny it.

But there are many bigger clubs than City who exist and thrive without him.

Just because we now have more dosh does not make it a cert that he will be our next manager.

Classic game, Cruijff has a go at Capello for being negative, says he chose to buy Desailly instead of Romario.

Milan then go on to spank them 4-0 with Desailly (the anchor man at the time) scoring the 4th.

Worthy champions.

Another away game another anonymous Messi... I remember a similar trend with Ronaldo, the opinion of this board was that Ronaldo bottled big games and away games and wasn't the best in the world, on the otherhand people are planning trips to Spain so they can say they've seen "the player ever in person".

Inter 4 shots on 4 shots off
Barca 6 shots on 1 shot off
barca 71% posession

that's what my sky sports app says.

I am aware of their credentials... still overrated though.
They do actually take their Joan Gamper trophy seriously and were not happy to lose to us, yes we did have some luck but still.

Well i think you will find yourself in a very very tiny minority, and in this minority is every rag twat known (not calling you a rag just saying thats what my rag mates say)

Plus winning every trophy and competition you have played in does not make you overratted it makes you a credible team worthy of plaudits, things that are widely ignored by the british media because mr ferguscum didnt achieve it

Never thought a blue would believe what their rag mates say...

With messi, its because defence pre game will work strongly to make sure its difficult for him. Think that inter are very strong at the back usually. But for teams when it works out they can stop messi.

Mario Balotelli Storms Off Pitch After Inter Victory
'SuperMario' was not too happy about a few things...
By Rick D'Andrea

Instead of celebrating a 3-1 victory over Barcelona in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final, Inter striker Mario Balotelli stormed off the pitch at the conclusion of the match.

Balotelli took off his Nerazzurri jersey and threw it on to the ground while the rest of his team-mates celebrated a famous victory. He was frustrated about the jeering he received when he missed an opportunity, opting to take out his anger with an offensive word.

Team-mate Dejan Stankovic went and picked up Balotelli's jersey, and brought it into the derssing room.

Sky Sport report that Beneamata director Gabriele Oriali tried to calm down the 19-year-old in the dressing room, after finding out that he was not pleased about comments made by captain Javier Zanetti after the match.

The Argentine stated that Balotelli had "ruined" the celebrations by making such a gesture.

Balotelli was also reportedly involved in a heated argument with defender Marco Materazzi, and once the exchange of words ended, the starlet left the stadium immediately.

Ha that man is an idiot! He throws a strop about anything!

Thought Inter played really well, the road trip must have had an affect on Barca and they were tipped to struggle but I still thought Jose would play for the 0-0 as he often seems to do in home legs. They are well capable of going through now.

Well If anyone can go to Camp Nou and pull off a win it would be Jose. The second leg should be very entertaining (more then tonights game i reckon). I really like Barca but i would really love it if Jose pulls it off and Inter go through.

would he be more or less likely to join us if Inter won the CL? I would think more likely as he would have done it all in Italian football and is ready for the next challenge. Of course this could mean Madrid...

Really wouldn't want him at City, he's a talent and all, but he wastes a lot of chances, add to that he's a fecking mard arse, imagine him trying to give grief to City fans after a miss, he'd be out like a light.

Amazing what a decent tactician does for Messi

What? Are you implying that Wenger isn't a decent tactician?

Nah, you wouldn't imply that because you know just how ridiculous it would sound...

He has made his fair share of mistakes though

I didn't realise the tactic of:

"When Messi gets the ball, 3 players close him down very quickly"

Is rocket science, maybe I'm mistaken

Especially considering Messi had little impact at the Emirates a few weeks back. It'll be a different story in the Nou Camp and we'll see if Jose can get his tactics spot on and keep Messi out of the game but it'll be more difficult to do so than last night thats for sure
