Sorry all, wrong thread! How do Bournemouth ever score any goals? I know that was off side but what a rubbish effort it was anyway.

All Pep's fault. That is the line the media will take:)Barcelona face corruption charges over payments to former referees' official
Barcelona face charges of corruption over payments to Jose Maria Enriquez Negreira, a former vice-president of Spain's referees' committee.www.bbc.co.uk
To borrow a line from Pep: Barcelona, "don't talk too loud".
You would think. But got a feeling it will be one of those too big to fail arguments, and someone is going to bail them out. Best case scenario is for them to allow external ownership/state sponsorship.I think there’s a very realistic chance that Barcelona doesn't exist in its current form in 10 years time.
They will soon be in €3 billion of debt and paying anywhere from €150-200m a year in interest. They have just given away €40m a year in tv money to stay solvent.
They are due to fail the next FFP reporting window by a few hundred million.
And then there’s this corruption scandal which looks really, really bad. Worse than calciopoli and the sporting sanctions ie relegation, exclusion from the CL etc would cost them hundreds of millions a year that they can’t afford to lose.
JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs will own FC Barcelona by 2030, if they haven’t already sold it on to a private owner by then.
NoApologies, but I am not quite up to speed with this story, we have a couple of ex Barca directors and an ex Barca manager in our setup, is there any danger this could bite us on the derrière?
Oh yes it will. You can bet our media will have a spin on this.
Imagine my shock that they are proper cheats like Juventus.
Never mind in a couple of years time nobody will mention how bent they are.
City will have the wrong colour grass again.
Quelle surprise. Real madrid weighing in now, airing their concern.
along the lines of “we’re not saying barcelona are guilty, but theyre definitely guilty” ;)
