I wonder what kind of team could be assembled from the Barcelona "rejects", including our own Yaya, still active at the top level? Any suggestions?

Arteta and Valdes, though the later not really "still active at the top level"! Must be many more playing in other countries?

Not much work rate is pretty much the recurring theme for all of them. Porto or Benfica's list of former players who are still active would probably beat them, or maybe Southamptons (not sure about CB's for them though)

Understand what you mean about Porto and Southampton. But players need to move "up" to be the best. With Barcelona its a question of who they let go.
