Missus coming out with the 6 year old lad on the wednesday for the game. I promised him I would take him if we ever play barca. Not going tell him until he arrives.

Day to together in Barca on Thursday.

Jog back to liverpool to see if the bindippers have left my car in one piece.

I'm bemused by this decision. We have games against Blackburn and Wolves either side of it and have now compromised what appeared to be a pretty easy start to the season by choosing to play 3 games in a week with travelling in the process. Why???????? With so many new signings, and not enough time for them to all gel during pre-season, we were always going to be playing like strangers fo the first few games, but now we've gone and made it even more difficult for ourselves. If we mess up our first 3 games, we then have Arsenal and the rags.

If this was a true PRE-season game, then it would be great news, but it doesn't preceed the season at all. It's pointless and hinders us.

This is one of the most prestigious pre-season games in Spain.

It's a real honour for City to be invited to play against the European Champions in their official 'presentation' in front of their own fans.

Right lads just been offered this. Depart 8am on the 18th,transfer to B&B near Barca uni, fly back on the 20th at 20 past midday. (flights from manchester aswell) based on 2 sharing. £210. Doesn't seem the end of the world.

Hughes probably thinks we will be undercooked going into the season. Gives our new centre backs and forwards a chance to develop their understanding in a no pressure game that will probably be played at walking pace,.

Monarch £95 ret & decent times

My Dad was delayed 4 hours going out and 9 hours coming back with Monarch just 2 weeks ago! My uncles flight was cancelled with Monarch just a month ago! and my mate had to get a new flight for later in the year as the one he'd booked with Monarch a few months ago isnt running now!
