Hopefully manuels last game! Really fearing a good thumping!

You're hoping we lose?

If it means getting him sacked and having a chance of finishing in the top 4 then yes! The way things are going we won't finish top 4! And I don't have to hope we lose because WE WILL LOSE!

You're a City supporter I take it? :-)

Blimey with supporters like you we might as well not bother sending the team over there, save the air fares, save their energy, save our fans a lot of money!!

City WILL WIN!!!

That's the spirit.

It's frightening what some of our fans have become to be honest

Haha I'm still absolutely devastated from Saturday it was awful just can't see us winning at barca after failing to beat burnley home and away! Usually really look forward to the next match after a defeat but im dreading Wednesday

You know, for what it's worth, I don't think he's the man to take us forward either. In common with pretty much everyone else on here I'd question his tactics and whether he's just too nice. I think maybe the decision to drop Jovetic from the CL squad has undermined him with the squad too.
But then, I think back to last year, 157 goals and the best football I've seen in 40 odd years of watching City (by a mile) and I have to think that's got to be worth something, hasn't it?

I have put the Burnley game firmly behind me. I hope the players have too.
I just want whichever side is picked, to turn up and give their all.
Hopefully we can take it to penalties. Can Messi take all theirs ;-)

In which case you have to ask why the hell they didn't turn up against Burnley on Saturday? I will be f***ing furious if we go balls out in this game, after putting our top 4 chances at risk by some of the half-arsed displays we've seen recently. Would be seriously questioning the mentality and desire of both the players and manager, where this half-baked UEFA cup competition is so important to them, even at the expense of missing out on qualifying for the bollocks next season.

That's the most frustrating thing I still think we're the best team in the league and should be pissing the league! And for me the reason we aren't is the manager!

For me, this group of players need to shoulder as much of the blame.
It's unfair to rave about the players when we're doing well and then turn on, solely
the manager when we lose.

....................................Hart..................................

Zabaleta......Kompany.......Mangala.......Kolarov

...................Fernando.......Fernandinho.............

.......Milner.................Yaya...............Silva............

...............................Aguero..................................

Keep things solid and compact, just like in Rome. Keep 11 men on the pitch and hope we get lucky with them missing chances. We also need to be extra clincal i.e Aguero v Bayern.

Sadly i can only see us drawing at best. If we score first I imagine theyll up thier game to a standard we simply cannot withstand

i completely agree, it`s not that i want him to fail to prove a point. i want him to win, but were going to get beat, i`m just afraid we will be totally taken apart and embarrassed by how much will depend on barca

Think that could well be the side that Manuel picks, or as near as damn it.
