No one think we should start with Bony up top? Just with Aguero behind to take some pressure off?

-----------Din'ho--Yaya-----------
Nasri-------Aguero--------Silva
-----------------Bony-----------------

Something like that? I'd much prefer Silva in the middle but the above could work. Very attacking.
I would go navas for Nasri simply because of work ethic and pace. Also I would only play Yaya if he is willing and able to play a controlled, professional DM role like he used to for Barca.

And being picky I would swap Fern & Yaya so Fern can help out on the left

I hope we do another Bayern. Fill in the midfield, defend defend and hit em back when the time is right.

Sadly if it's MP he'll go 4-4-2 again and that goes out the window.

Thats the side that beat Bayern away

01 Hart
02 Richards (Zabaleta - 16' Booked )
13 Kolarov
25 Fernandinho Booked
26 Demichelis
06 Lescott
15 Jesús Navas
14 Javi García
10 Dzeko Booked (Rodwell - 88' )
21 Silva (Negredo - 73' )
07 Milner Booked

Thats the side that beat Bayern away- I also think this proves you don't have to have obvious pace ( Navas excluded ) as most in this side that beat bayern dont have it

Wont argue mate but my point stands. This Barca side are no great shakes defensively imo and can be got at.

Barca this season La Liga P27 F78 A16
City this season PL P29 F59 A28

I'd say its us who has the problems fella!

Whats that got to do with what im saying?

Yes they are a great side going forward and yes they are a great side in possession and yes we have been poor of late but we have the game to hurt them if we are at it and they are not a great side defensively imo and can be got at.

On that note im out before this thread turns into a "we are shit and I want sackings" thread.

Easy tiger! Just simply pointed out that its our defence that is vulnerable whether we score goals or not.

Neither defence is up to much. But like I said before keeping the ball ensures the other team can't score.

Personally I hope we sit in for the first half and do our best to nullify them and perhaps try and nick something on the break. In the second half we can perhaps take a bit more of a gamble.

Going out all guns blazing from the word go will see us on the end of a hammering.

Probably we will play with 10 players again.

3 matchs against Barcelona: 3 card targets and 2 penalties. It's incredible!

COME ON, CITY! 2-3

What, conceding 16 in 27 is vulnerable?

First of all I didn't say vulnerable, I said on paper their defence isn't up to much.

But clearly you didn't read my second sentence, which sums up the reason they hardly concede any goals.

I did read it, it will be us who gets caught on the break fella, we need to go there and attack not sit back looking to counter them.

i'd go the other way to be honest, both defenses are not bad, i was merely pointing out barca's is hard to breach
