Their problem is they didn't pay half of that 566m to the recipients.
 
Genuine question what exactly are these "levers" that Barcelona keep pulling/moving/levering ? We keep hearing the term but what does it mean? Or is it a term to use instead of fiddling/cooking/massaging/manipulating , Thats more user friendly in these enlightened times ?
 
Being reported that in BBC Gossip today, Newcastle are interested in Ferran Torres. Now here is a player who wanted to go to Barca being a bigger and more famous club than ours. He was also quite disparaging about Manchester weather. That being the case then I don't think the North Sea in winter will be much to his taste.
As an aside, he went to Barca with Barca being unable to pay his transfer fee, City being a charity donor to that Spanish club. If a transfer away from his first love goes through then it has to be hoped that City are immediately on the case.
 
Just watching highlights of Barcelona against Valencia 7 -1 final score.
They seem to be doing well with some ayers who I thought were fairly ordinary.
Torres and Garcia and Raphina ( looks a very good player now)
Scezny in goals.
Lewandowski doesn't seem to be slowing down either

Depends on what you want to see, certainly the Spanish tourist board.FA need the usual 3 to be top, as for the rest they are shit.

They're second in champions league table and seem to be getting a tune out of players that I thought were either past it or not good enough.

They have 5 outstanding Young players, Pedri, Gavi, Fermin, Cubarsi and Lamine. I think at least 4 of those are World Class in waiting. Plus they have some players outperforming their talent ( the Brazilian).

But having a young core that's that talented helps. Their demise has been greatly exaggerated

100% they could have a hell of a side in a few years and when that stadium reopens they will be back.
