In 48 hours, he'll be picking up the Premier League trophy too, to crown Manchester City as Champions of England.
Hope so!

Get in Vince. Well done.

Why are these not awarded at the end of the season though?

Presumably so that the presentations can be made pre-match before the final game.

Well done, Vincent; you've been a rock for City this season and your partnership with Joleon is one that is going to getg even better in the coming seasons, IMHO, and is one of the main reasons that Joe has picked up the Golden Glove award for the second consecutive season.

I cant honestly remember, but did Kompany play CB for Hughes, and did VK ever play in the midfield for Mancini?

Seems Mancini liked Kompany from the start.

In his debut he was switched to CB for the last half hour, can't remember him starting a game under Hughes at centre back.

Nor can I remember him ever playing in midfield under Mancini.

Gotta agree with both selections. Vinnie because he has been the rock of the defense in front of Joe Hart and Alan Pardew has done amazing things, finding great players for low cost (Cissi) and having a shot of playing in Europe next season.
