im wondering how the hell st james park is 4th. i can occasionally hear the scousers but thats about it. i know they are 4-1 down but its been the same all game

You have to feel sorry for their fans, at least we have hope (because we have got the money) they are getting a lot less deluded nowadays none of this lets put a bid in for "name a city player" because we are a big club, it's worse than here on their forums

And apparently Arsenal want Given, Steven Taylor and Zoggy (N'Zogbia) off them and we want Owen (even though I think he's a crock of shite and a Liverpool reject)

WTF! Who would seriously buy Taylor? The bloke's useless!

i think newcastle have two reasons to be thankful today. firstly that they still have given at the club and secondly that torres wasnt playing.

Relegation would be the best thing that happened to them, and many of their fans are starting to see that, the club needs rebuilding

Relegation is far too costly to be good for anyone. Newcastle are bad though and yep they need a lot of things sorting out

True but they would parachute money, and would give them a chance to rebuild from scratch

Hardly the same as staying in the Premiership and using the TV rights money... Ashley seemed to be trying to rebuild for the long term, but the Geordies were too blind to see it.
