We will be one game in hand until the villa game in the last week.

Still think Chelsea will get a draw at Anfield and I still think we will win it. The pressure
on the scousers will now be immense and they will crumble ( I hope).
There is no way we will win at Everton and Palace mate

I'd be ecstatic with a point at Goodison considering the fact that they're fighting for CL football.
Might not do a lot for us but I believe the title is gone anyway.

Hope this is satire but Everton won't have Barry who we know is instrumental. Also Palace might already be on their holidays when we roll up.

Yes...but as we know, Pulis will not only be parking buses at either end of Selhurst, he'll be building bungalows, just to fuck us off

We all thought we was doomed this time two years ago. We're in a better position now than we was then. I'm confident we can win all our games and Liverpool will bottle it.

Re: Sunderland pre match thread

It has been in our own hands all season. Sadly It is no longer the case and that for me is unforgivable. Why did we take the foot off the throttle at Arsenal? Once you are depending on others (and yes i know what happened in 2012) the pressure becomes constant. We give up far too many chances for a top side. Pellegrini starting to sound like bobby now (I thought we played well) after every cock up. let's be honest we played "well" for 25 minutes out of 90, now that won't win you anything. We pissed away the fa cup by barely showing up, almost did the same in the league cup until we woke up, Barca have since been shown up as mediocre yet again we lost both legs to them. The worrying part of it all is the same mistakes are been repeated over and over again. Only the bravest would bet on us winning all our remaining fixtures( we managed 4 points out of 9 or 7 out of 12 whichever way you want to dress it up) and that still mightn't be enough. Watching Chelsea at swansea wouldn't exactly fill me optimism either. A season of what might have been I fear!

Re: Sunderland pre match thread

We should dispose of these, I'd take a 1-0 win all day but the GD could do with boosting.

I'd like to think Aguero and Negredo will start but I doubt it.

Arsenal played a good 2nd half

This. He changed the game when he came on today, doesn't play anywhere near enough, he was our best player last season. Saying that, navas might make more of opan impact against Sunderland, with his pace.

Milner deserves to start but Navas suits the home games so well, especially a side like them.
