Barry - England

i think he'll be in the England setup for a good couple of years yet, but if he isnt then thats only good news for us as he is an important player for us imo

Being selfish i hope Barry never plays for England again, we need him in top top condition for us, big player for us.

Wilshire another arrogant English kid. He will fall flat on his arse tonight.

The next english player to be overhyped by the media.

The kid is going to be a real star, if he was spanish and played for Barca everyone would be wanking over him.

I agree the media are to blame when England 'stars' flop, because they're hyped up so much they cannot possibly live up to it. Wilshire is 19 for God's sake. I do not care how good he is, he should not be anywhere near the senior side. It's too much pressure. At Arsenal he has a world class player in Fabregas playing alongside him, who helps, guides & covers for him. Gerrard wasn't playing regularly for Liverpool, A.Cole had just come into the Arsenal side after being on loan at Crystal Palace and Lampard was being relegated with West Ham when they were his age. All the other England regulars, Terry, Ferdinand etc were not playing at senior level either.

Also Capello is going to play him completely out of position for England. He is going to play him in the Alex Song role which is not the position he plays for Arsenal and I think he will fail. This highlights why Capello SHOULD NOT be England manager anymore, he could be the ruining of a potentially great future England player.

On another note, Josh Mcechran of Chelsea is a real little star (he is only 17). In the U21 match he reminded me so much of our own Silva. The passes he played and his style were an exact carbon copy!

I totally agree. Us Arsenal fans are very worried about what's gonna happen with Wilshire. We don't want Capello destroying his confidence. He should be left to learn his trade, at the Arsenal, for a good couple of years yet before England get their clutches into him.

McEachran is also a very good player. Maybe he and Wilshire can be the Xavi and Iniesta of the England National side in the future. The difference is that at Arsenal Wenger has a youth policy and that means Wilshire is fast tracked like Fabregas was, like that cnut Ashley Cole and to some extent Walcott. This means that Wilshire can develop as he gets lots of playing time but McEachran is always on the bench and this could harm his progress. Maybe Chelsea should send him out on loan but I don't think they will because he is the only good thing to come out of their Academy since John Terry, ha ha! Whereas at Arsenal we have a conveyor belt of talent coming through.

England improved when Barry came on.

Agree with you on that
Regarding the world cup Barry was injured and should not have gone. Cappello took a gamble and it bit him in the arse, there was achance to take Parker or our AJ but bottled it. There were A few bigger named players who fucked the world cup up lets get that straight.

I think Barry will still play in the qualifiers. Capello trusts him more in that role than a 19 year old who is better in an advanced position.

Wilshere will replace Lampard in the next 12 months.
