obviously you're going to get a fair response on here with that question, so I'll start with no blue tinted specs worn.............
Barry wins hands down.................the two rags c*nts are shit.

Exactly my thoughts mate ha

It could be argued that fletcher and Hargreaves ahve won a high number of trophies , in hargreaves case in a different country ...and Barry has won ...zip..

surely thats an accurate measure of a player?

As an all round midfielder then Flecther is the better player for me. Gareth Barry is a good player but not been consistant enough this season whereas Flecther is probably Uniteds best midfielder at the minute and they miss him when he's not playing just as they did at the weekend against Wolves where they failed to control in the middle of the park

whats your debut in aid of?

And hargreaves just doesn't warrant a mention....... the mans nickname from the other rag players is tampon, says it all.
And if we can be unbiased for a moment then fletcher is developing into a super player, though in anybody else's hand baring scotch and rye he'd be average...... for me though manchini has finally found barrys best position and we're beginning to see the difference. Its no coincidence that early season the exciting attacking football we were playing was due to barry playing further up field, when hughes started to get cautious and played de jong and barry as anchors the link evaporated.
Having Zab in there has allowed barry the chance to bomb on again and it doesn't half make a difference.

In conclusion......... barry

In Aid of them two being dirty rags who think they no everything about football and think that every player in a blue shirts crap, I think uve hit the nail bang on there mate nice one!!!

Can't remember if Hargreaves is any good or not, it's been that long since he had a run of games.

Fletcher has improved a lot but he'll still always be fundamentally shit. He's better than Carrick though.

So, by the process of elimination, Barry is the best.

Hargreaves for me, was genuinely pissed off when he signed for them, and one of his first games against us (1 nil Geo) he was absolutely everywhere. Always admired him from when he was at Bayern and his England performances in-particular!

If only he was still at Bayern when our money came in and he was injury-free. If only...........

I am convinced that if Sven had been appointed a few weeks earlier we would have signed Hargreaves.
