Barry or Milner?

Neither! If our aim for the season is to win the title then neither of them can be regulars! Both nothing more than your average, run of the mill English footballers!

I think you meant to say "nothing more than your average, run of the mill England Internationals".

I am convinced that Milner will have a key role in our successes this Season and if Barry plays well, City play well.

You just go back to "Football Manager" or whatever it is the computer Game is called.

If Mancini is serious about attacking more this season, as he said we need 10-15 more goals to win the league, that spot will be obsolete I think for many games and Nasri will step in as the extra attacking player. It'll put extra pressure on our defence to stay solid though with only Nigel and to an extent Yaya protecting them instead of Barry but the only way we'll score more goals and in general play nicer football is by doing this. Both must still have a role to play though, its the squad game. We know what Barry can do but Milner has yet to prove anyone on the flank or in the middle for us. Big season for him or he could be another one we flog for a loss next year.

Barry every fucking time, and I used to hate Barry but the FA semi and final I see how important he is. Milner tries to hard and always fucks up, he does make good runs but then he is lost in the finishing

I like Barry but sadly this is closer to the truth. We need more mobility in the midfield. I liked the look of Cleverley today, think someone like him would be a good a partner for Silva

and we will, in a week or two, whether it's Nasri or Sneijder.

We don't have to play with 2 defensive-minded midfielders (I'm hesitant to cause Barry a DM), United or Chelsea, have consistently shown you can win this league playing one or none.

Both are good workhorse to use when play with small-mid table teams in domestic games, but they are not yet Champions League/international standard imo.

Neither.

We desperately need a busy midfielder who can pass and zip the ball about with pace and creativity to replace one of these 2.

De jong, Toure, Barry and Milner do not possess any of those attributes and it really showed yesterday.

Means fuck all......unless you have forgotten England are fucking shit!

If Barry sticks to the left hand side he can be effective.
When he decides to wander to the right he is fucked.
Did you see when he went over to recieved a throw from Jonno in
the Rags half.
He tried to control the ball with his non existent right foot and ended
up loosing the ball to a rag who swept it up field leaving him and Jonno
stranded.
Now you can say at least he moved to recieve the ball, but this is why
we desperatly need a right hand side midfield player.
