Red Sox v Yankees about to start on ESPN.

Season coming along nicely. Rangers and Phillies have won their respective divisions as have the mighty Twins!!

So who do you all fancy for the other leagues, the wildcards and ultimately to win the World Series?

Not sure if the Twins are strong enough, but hopefully they'll nick it!

Some great NFL match ups as well.

I don't think the Twins have it to go to deep in the playoffs. Relatively easy division compared to the east. I think the wildcard seed will even be stronger than them. As much as I hate the Yankees, their my pick for the World Series. They've looked great through September, and it's usually the hot team in the fall that goes on to win.

Anyone here interested in hockey?

Sorry mate, don't get to see too much hockey.

Who's your NFL team (seeing as your location says Ottawa)?

Please tell me you'r not a senators fan. It's tough having the Leafs to deal with though I'll admit that. The NHL is the only North American sport I watch and I don't even watch that much anymore. I haven't watched a baseball game sinse they went on strike.

Don't really have a favourite team in the NFL, I usually just watch the best match ups on the telly, but I like the Titans this year to win if they can keep Young healthy. I'm a bigger fan of the CFL.

I actually grew up in Montreal, so I'm a habs fan! But everyone in Ottawa has to be a fan of Ottawa as well. On game days it seems like the whole city shuts down, so it's hard not to be swept up in it. But it looks like it's gonna be a tough season for both of us!

I follow the NHL mate, I've been living in Toronto for a while now so I've become a Leafs supporter. Don't think we'll make the playoffs though this year. Still a couple top forwards away from that.

The Phillies locked up homefield thoughout the playoffs tonight. Doc Halladay went the route for his 21st win of the season and only needed 97 pitches to get it done.

I've been watching them for over 30 years and I've never seen them play this good. They just keep coming at you with their horses, they'll win the first two games of a series and then throw Roy Oswalt. It's going to be hard not to get spoiled.

Did you have a two foot long hotdog in one hand and a bucket of coke in t'other whilst watching, by any chance?

Ah the play offs and buckshot returns bless him, at least he hasn't given me shit for the demise of the Mets after the all star break.( I know I deserved it).
I still have a soft spot for the Dalton gang even Mets fans loved the attitude of that team.So have fun Buckshot get the fanatic dancing on the dug out and have a beer on me, win it for the NL.
God has told me that he will let the Mets win it next year.
