all he does is pass it almost to himself all game, hopefully he'll have a stormer now

He has been a pleasure to watch. Agree he is well past it but deserves a great send off. Bet he has a good game tonight.

I really dont understand this. Stones is quality. I know he was shaky after he came back from injury but he is such a good footballer he must come good again. As for the downer on Bravo, he is not the same 'keeper he was last year. Yes, he still has his moments but he is vastly improved and dont forget he kept us in the League Cup this year on more than one occasion. Pep clearly trusts him.
I really rate Stones, at the moment he isnt playing his best though, surely.

Bravo always has the potential for a fuck-up, I am not part of the whole hate bravo thing, and he has been good, but he can be a calamity sometimes.

On the tram to campus currently creeping along 5 meters at a time... presumably because walkers keep darting in front of it.

Anyone know how the queues look?

This team will be fine. Playing at home against Basel with a 4 goal lead FFS. Not Barcelona away down 2. I fully expect us to “win” this leg too. This is a great time to rotate. Don’t understand the negativity about Stones either, he was playing great pre-injury and will bounce back. Needs playing time.

So happy to see Yaya on the team sheet for tonight, considering this is his last season with us and for all the great things he did for us, I'm glad he will get a last hurrah in the Chumps League with us.

Also pleased Foden will get the chance to play a large part in such a high profile game.

here we go again with impartial reporting from the BBC. This guy is their match reporter for tonight

It will be interesting to see if Man City go for it tonight. I really hope that Basel go for it, I'd love to see them throw the kitchen sink at it.

City's defence has been known to wobble on occasion.

Unlikely as it is I’d love to see one last bulldozing run through the opposition’s midfield. Tonight would be the best chance for him to actually pull it off.

Is that the same defence that has the best defensive record in the premiership ?

What a fucking cock. I hate the fact the middle classes have got into football. I would love to throw a kitchen sink at him.
