Next up Basel at home. 4-0 first leg, think we’ll see a lot of rotation here.

Ederson

Danilo
Stones
Laporte
Zinchenko

Fernandinho
Gundogan
Foden

Sterling
Jesus
Bernardo

Hard to pick. Foden could start purely to rest Kevin and David or maybe Yaya? Don’t think Yaya is up to it. I’m assuming Fern and Raz are fit.

Since Ferna isnt back in full training (?) i dont think he will start this one.

you forgot delph who will no doubt play

The beauty of the squad and this game is that you can rotate everybody who needs a rest and it’s still a strong team but more importantly a hungry one - lots of players either coming back from injury or wanting to cement a place in the first team. I’d go with something along the lines of:

Ederson

Danilo
Zinchenko
Stones
Laporte

Delph
Foden
Silva

Bernardo
Diaz/Sterling (can’t remember if Diaz is available
Jesus

Liking the above - although think El Mago may get a rest, just not sure who fills in lol

An excellent way of resting another midfield regular with Delph in there to shore things up. Best line up that.

I wonder if Basel will leave some of their best at home; suppose depends how they are fixed in the league etc

Always play 1 of Merlin or Kev, with the other on the bench.

May as well let Yaya have a run out too.

Diaz on at half time for Dave if need be.
Possible run-out for Sterling as well but no point risking him if he's not 100%.

Expect to see a lot of rotation. Obviously still need to put out a team that can get the job done but need to rest some players for the final march to the title.
