As a kid living above a cafe in the late 60's, i used to hear these two bands everyday pumped out of the old Wurlitzer jukebox we had. Used to go to the local cinema on a saturday afternoon matinee for a bob(5p) and watch the beatles films, Hard days night and Help. Since then i've listened to more Beatles than the Who, but as i have got older, i appreciate the rock sound of the Who more than those guitar jangly poppy love songs that were the sound i loved listening to back then, and for this, my vote very narrowly goes to the Who.

The Who were/are OK but nothing compares to The Beatles.

So it's err..... The Beatles for me.
