Difficult choice. The Kinks did some great pop tunes and Ray Davies's Waterloo Sunset at the 2012 closing ceremony was mesmerising and immediately took me back to the 60s and my childhood. But Dark Side of the Moon is surely one of the best albums ever. I listened to it (my scratched vinyl copy) a couple of weeks back for the first time in years and it struck a chord with me. I wish I'd taken heed of the lyrics when I bought the LP.

The Kinks - just classic British music. Ray Davies was a genius and they were cool as fuck to boot.
