I adored them for a long time, bought the same guitar as Gilmour used and had my hair circa Echoes era (no chance of that now...) what a band.

There was a time when The Jam rocked my world and I thought that "Down in the Tube Station" was the bees knees as far as music was concerned.

And then, a bit later than normal, a friend turned me onto Pink Floyd. I was hooked.


Pink Floyd it is. If only for "Comfortably Numb". Trite I know.

No.
Pink Floyd at their best were beautiful. Echoes Live at Pompeii is the music I fully expect to hear when waiting for clearance at the Pearly Gates. (This will probably be replaced by Coldplay if the news isn't good)
