Not sure what Akanji is supposed to do in that situation and his hand wasn’t in an unusual position, also not sure the ball wouldn’t have hit his body anyway but thankfully it was a minor annoyance.

Both absolute bollocks to be honest. The defender should never have had to have his hands behind his back in the first place. To potentially lose Europe’s biggest competition due to either is just ridiculous.
