We were lucky Leicester didn't score 3 after pep brought palmer gomez and Phillips on last weekend.

What can I say, we didn't concede 3 in the end, and I am an invincible optimist :). I still remember that 2013 match against Bayern, and how our weakened team beat their top 11.

Pretty standard that the one time we could benefit with the away goals rule, it wont help us

Been unlucky in that sense, after the the years we went out on away goals to Spurs and Monaco. VAR coming in the year after we were robbed of the Sane goal against Liverpool. VAR coming in just in time to spot the offside versus Spurs.

Hopefully nothing daft tonight.

I sent them a message this afternoon asking if they knew that there was an English team playing tonight but got no reply.

They spent nearly all day bemoaning Chelsea's melt down but not a mention of City until gone 4.00!!
