Must have changed then,we had to change train and it took more like 40 minutes.

I'd forgotten to mention this but City fans travelling to this game should make sure they book hotels in advance. During the Oktoberfest getting a hotel in Munich is a nightmare. The tourist office often has to send people 20 miles out of the City to get a room.
Munich local paper TZ reports hotels are on average 75% booked up atm but nearer the time most will be full to capacity.
If I were you I'd book as soon as I got confirmation of my match ticket.
