As good stat wise as Raz was. You can see that playing Jack on the left we are less likely to run down a blind alley, lose the ball and hit on the break.
Although not slow, Jack is not as fast as Raz but technical ability is on a different planet.
Both the same age but Raz will struggle once he starts to lose that one weapon.

Pre-season results or performances don't really matter much but we were quite a level above Bayern. Funnily enough we added Haaland and Alvarez and the final score still doesn't reflect the dominance which has been the case for countless of our games under Pep. Have a feeling it'll continue, more to do with the style than the players really but this time with less easy scapegoats.

Next week should be a big test for fitness, last time against Pool we were gassed by 60 mins during Community Shield 2 years ago.

How long did they have a break in play for? I saw the 10 mins,and then went to bed after the commentator said the weather was here to stay.

In that initial period,the players looked sharp and hungry.Grealish definitely settled in now,it bodes very well indeed.

I’m glad someone saw the funny side of things! The “juicy” Private Message I received from one such poster would suggest humour is not a universal concept, esp when it comes to the word “plastic”?!

I was called it for not driving 8 hrs to see the game at Lambeau and thought it was hilarious. Humour is personal, I guess!

Could have easily of scored six goals , we dominated a strong German Rag team and gave them very little , we have a real goal poacher in Haaland , only the second pre-season game and we looked strong looking forward to giving the Dippers and all Klopp's world class players a hiding.

A good training session and getting some game time in the legs
standouts for me were Wilson Esbrand at left-back and Grealish and Haaland took his goal well,
but some late tackles going in on the city players and the officials looked dodgy and clueless at times,

I think pep and city need to sort a game out midweek behind closed doors at home and get some more game time into the players

I know nothing about Rico Lewis, but he looks a great prospect. Where did he come from?
An amazing array of young talent at City.

Been at the club since he was 8. Made his debut for the u18s when he was 15. Was the captain of the side last season. Great going forward. Tenacious when defending. Currently 17. Someone to keep an eye on. Makes clever attacking runs.
