The weather forecast for down here was pissing it down , could have put washing out easily , still not rained , probably wont be that bad in manchester tonite , they always go over the top

After a walk by the sea this morning, beautiful blue skies but a little breeze,it's now turned grey with a bit of drizzle and the winds whipping up at Fleetwood-by-the-sea.

The weather is coming over us inland so take a coat !!!!!

Raining in South Manchester and breeze getting up. Stick Meteoradar on at 7pm and get the three hour rain forecast. That site is usually pretty accurate.

Think we need to see a bit of ferocity as we've been far too easy to score against in these home knockout games, be "clever" like others are against us. Drive a shoulder through someone's head like Felipe did to Foden that had him dazed and confused for the rest of the game. Do a robertson and use the speed to Mane/Coman to fling them into the hoardings, or maybe a Rudiger on De Bruyne type thing. Wind Cancelo up if he plays. Runs the risk of cards but we'll be screwed over again at some point anyway against European "royalty". With 4 centre backs + Rodri we now have some imposing physicality, use it.

Once again against Saints our acclaimed tactical fouling was proven myth as De Bruyne let their player run free as a bird almost to 1v1 Ederson. For him, Gundogan and Mahrez it might be the last chance to win this as a starter so they need to be more aware defensively than usual and take the card if need be. Touchal rested Goretzka last game probably with intent on using him in the Mount role to bully De Bruyne out of the game, Bernardo might be better choice to start.

We have shown it at times. At home to PSG we got right under their skin, and Ferny then got Di Maria sent off by winding him up and making him react. Away at Atletico we played them at their own game and got them rattled. It was only really that bit of nous against Real that was missing. When they pulled a goal back, that was the time for our players to feel the cramp. To keep going down. Once they got ahead, that's all they did for the rest of the ET period. We barely had more than 30secs before they were down for another couple of minutes.

Just have to make home advantage count. We're the better team. Run harder, fight for every ball, crowd behind the lads and we'll beat them.
