I do not know what to expect - I just answer to your post.

First loss was against Leverkusen that Alonso got to sit well back and to counter very well. It was the last match of Nagelsmann for a reason!

The other one was a match against a very good defensively organisated Freiburg that had a freak equaliser from far out and got a penalty in overtime because of a shady handball of Musiala. Very difficult to break down - but Bayern controlled them very well. But difficult to have good chances against. A totally different approach to the match we expect tonight as I do not think that you will park the double-decker bus...

Bayern has played in the recent months against Lewandowski, Dzeko, Martinez, Lukako, Neymar, Messi and Mbappe - and the only goals against were 2 from Plzen in a 4:2 after already leading 4:0 - and that despite playing Inter, Barcelona and PSG home and away.

For me as a fan this team still is a lucky bag (?). You do not know what you get. They have a league face and a CL face.

So I actually do not know what to expect. Even against an in form Manchester City...

In your last five matches (Augsburg, Leverkusen, Dortmund, Freiburg x2) you’ve scored 12 and conceded 8. Since Tuchel took over, you’ve won 2, lost 1, with a +2 GD.

After having watched both the cup exit at home and then narrow 0-1 away win against Freiburg, I think we likely see similar shithouse Tuchel tactics as we did when he was at Chelsea. Whether the referee will actually appropriately deal with them is anyone’s guess (though, I’ll wager he won’t).

But I still think your team is there for the taking if we can play to our potential, especially as we are not PSG in the CL. ;-)
