I don't know if am alone in this , who actually rates Akanji I dont have nothing against him but seen he can't win duels in the Liverpool game he let Jota turn him but Dias came to the rescue to make the block .

Pep rates him which is good enough for me. Why not wait to see how the game pans out before digging out one of our own?

Which is why I would’ve preferred Walker to Akanji, allowing Stones to slide centrally. Could’ve had John next to Rodri in possession with Walker on the outside to deal with pace on the counter.
