I agree. I can't think of us ever hitting those heights before or since. Come to think of it, I can't think of any English side reaching that level of performance. It should have been 4-0 at half-time. We reached our absolute peak that night. After that, we dropped off a little but it then merely became about getting the job done in the league, FA Cup final and CL final.
