I want to see us play a complete second string, even if it means us getting beat something ridiculous like 40-0, next weeks game against Arsenal is almost make or break.

I am expecting a battering anyway.

Wrong thread, but I object to the "make or break" against Arsenal. We turned round 8 point deficit in April against Utd so we can turn round 8 points against Arsenal in December.

There was only one team going up against us that season though whilst now you have Chelsea and possibly Liverpool as the dark horse, if Arsenal beat Everton tomorrow and us next week thats 11 points, I just don't see us getting that back without dropping even more points.

It's a much stronger PL this season than it was when we won it.

Thought we played our best team today? Kolorov & Demichelis starting & Garcia coming on. To me that is far from being our best team. Lescott & Clichy would be more reliable at the back. Demichelis spends half the time falling over & Kolorov does'nt get back.

Lopes will play with the u21s in the youth CL, they have to not lose to qualify so Viera will want his best team available.

I think Guidetti will most likely be with the u21s as well.

Lopes will play with the u21s in the youth CL, they have to not lose to qualify so Viera will want his best team available.

I think Guidetti will most likely be with the u21s as well.

He's too old to be eligible for that, no clue why we didn't include him in our CL squad..
