Bayern offloading Robben

imagine a midfield of

Robben
De Rossi
Yaya
Silva

Genuine world class get em signed.
when he's fit he makes up for it.

Think of a midfield and attack of

Schweinsteiger - Kroos
Robben - Müller - Ribery
Gomez

And then you know why he is not on sale...

1st Gomez, 2nd Müller, 3rd Ribery - 5th Robben (with just 14 games played) was the scorer ranking in the Bundesliga last year even if at halftime Müller was 19th, Ribery was 27th. The four in front have learned at the end of last season how to work together - took awhile. This year they did not have too much chances for it.

--------------------

Germany's press does not have anything to talk about right now. Bayern is 1st in Bundesliga with 3 points advantage. And as there is nothing to really tell about...

Last week it was the question if Robben is an egoist - this week it is if he is an actor...

When Robben's fit, he's in the top five players in the world in my opinion. Just look at 2010, he was Bayern's best player in the Champion's League Final and one of Holland's best players in the World Cup Final. He is unbelievable, world class.

But he gets injured too much. For that reason, we probably can't go for him. Also I think it would take £40-50 million for Bayern to sell him.

Robben is the difference between getting knocked out in the last 16 and making the Champions League finals. He has a knack of scoring spectacular goals in knockout competition.

Wouldn't touch him if he paid us to sign for City.

Any reason?
I can give you few reasons.

1. Injury prone
2. very selfish
3. very arrogant
4. have fallen out with his team mates at bayern and has basically become an outsider as they are fed up with his attitude
5. slapped a team mate on the pitch cause he questioned him
6. Why would a team like Bayern sell a world class player? Cause he's trouble. I would think by now the tevez saga has taught us to take a look at the character of the player and not only skill

Totally agree and add the fact that he is way past his best.....the last thing we need are old pros looking for a big cheque and a retiring home

can accept some of the earlier reasons for not having robben but the last one just isn't true. he's come into the best form of his career while at bayern, nothing like past it

1 - right
2 - in football - he has to be to a special extent to be valuable. But he can be a teamplayer, too.
3. - who is not?
4. what I see he gets around pretty good with his team mates. If the media wants to find stories...
5. You mean Müller. Yes, they bitch on each other bright often. Goes in both direction - both do not like to loose - both are pretty emotional. After that clash they had last year they were working pretty good together... But when one of them hits the goal they lay in each others arms. And Müller is the first one that stands in front of Robben in press conferences.
6. Bayern does not want to. Yes, they want to buy Reus. A German player without any international pedigree - but a big talent. They have 20 field players and are short of quality reserves. You have seen the team that has been on the field at the Ethihad. Some are miles away in class from the first eleven.

-----

Bayern does not really need to dive. Müller has gotten about 8 penalties this year for Germany and Bayern without even thinking about diving. There is enough defenders that are stupid enough to cause fouls so you do not really need to dive...

Would you take him?
For me, he's only just been overtaken as the 'biggest parasite in football' by Suarez at Liverpool. I'd honestly hate it and be embarrassed if we signed this cheating fucker. I absolutely hate him! He's also very injury prone and that's too unreliable to have in the squad.

will take massive wages and play very little due to injuries.I wont touch him. Also brings some baggage.Ribery on the other hand................

no he is quality but past his best.... a gamble i wouldn t take!!!!

He isn't past his best. His only problem (as a player) is injuries. The comparatively small number of games he plays a season are ridiculously productive.

Yes , I think he would fit right in due to our squad rotation, and may not get injured so much if not playing every game, if he's available I think we should get him before any of our rivals do.

Great player but injured 99% of the time, mancini won't go near players his age that are ways injuded
