I don't know how people can get excited for the pre-season training games. I'd rather watch videos of them in actual training in the gym or on the training pitch doing drillscan't ever recall being so bloody excited about the first of the pre-season friendlies.
genuinely looking forward to it.
c'mon city!
It is great to see them together again and with pep to see more interesting than usual,it wets the appetite for the season aheadI don't know how people can get excited for the pre-season training games. I'd rather watch videos of them in actual training in the gym or on the training pitch
Appetites are 'whetted' K7. as in stimulated. It is great to see them together again and with pep to see more interesting than usual,it wets the appetite for the season ahead
I'd be more interested if it showed what their heart rates were on those bras they wear or they told us exactly what they'd eaten pre- and post-match.It is great to see them together again and with pep to see more interesting than usual,it wets the appetite for the season ahead

Wetted means errr covered in liquid.....or gravy, if you like.
Ay thang yew....
I agree that you can't read too much into them and they are lacking in edge but I think in this case folk are generally excited about the start of what will hopefully be a great few years. Also it is of interest how Pep sets us up tonight so we can see how things have changed since the departure of PellerI'd be more interested if it showed what their heart rates were on those bras they wear or they told us exactly what they'd eaten pre- and post-match.
In years gone by Boyata and Sinclair have been our stand-out players in pre-season games, I just find them boring. As I say, I'm more interested in what actually goes on away from the games in pre-season.
Do you reckon this will be on in a pub somewhere?
