Bayern v City post match thread

What a result! So proud of the team, especially Zab who is fucking amazing. With Richards out we have to protect Zab from too many games.

Given the opposition and the start one of our best efforts in many a year.

Hopefully we will do the Arse out of the Arse now.

Yeah, but Bayern weren't really trying, were they?

*grabs popcorn, sits back and waits*
They were and it is further evidence that Guardiola is going to ruin this Bayern generation.

That being said, fantastic effort from City. Milner dived for the penalty, but was involved in all three goals and had a great game. Silva was brilliant too considering it was his first game back in a while. Fernandinho had a great game and Zabaleta kept Ribery in his pocket. Hart was solid and Demichelis grew into the game. Dzeko was big and strong and held the ball up well, won headers and was a threat all game.

I'm dreaming !!

fuck how can a shit 20 minutes diplay turn that into 3 goals :)

well bring on arseanal !

3 in the middle

And look how much better we are especially in these games against the big teams. If we played that formation at home in confident we would've beaten them then as well. On a side note, he may get abuse but Garcia bossed things in the second half was my MOTM.

Stunned. 2-0 down thought we were going to get battered. Well done lads. Milner and Silva stood out for me.

Zabba shows why he's light years better than Richards too

Proud to be a blue!

Coming from 2 down on their turf with a second string team including Garcia (who played well second half!) and winning despite a ref giving most of the decisions favourably to the home team (pen aside) against a near full strength Bayern (only Robben missing wasn't there!?)

I think we've just shown Europe what we're about. Sure no-one will be wanting to draw us in the next round now!

Hold my hands up re line-up, they did us proud tonight.

Credit to Pellegrini as well, I dunno what he said at half time but it seemed to have a decent effect. I can't imagine us winning having been 2-0 down with Mancini. Because of our focus on attacking now it basically meant even at 2-0 we were still likely to score, didn't see that much under Mancini when the going was tough.

Very proud of the team tonight, what was in effect our second string against a strong Munich side that resorted to diving and time wasting (never mind the officials giving them help as seems the norm at the allianz) would have been nice to get the other goal but 15 points and qualification is more than enough for me after the last 2 years
