On the 10pm BBC national news last night their Sports Editor Dan Roan' s first question to the new PL Chief Exec was how he was going to stop Manchester City's unfair financial domination ruining the League.

The video clip has now had this question edited out and the interview has been re-ordered, re-titled and tucked away in a corner of their website https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49269545.

Its new headline is about tackling racism - Banned Roan's racist attack on City's owners seems to have gone unnoticed. Hopefully not by City's lawyers.

The associated Q & A hasn't disappeared yet though

"Is Manchester City's financial clout making the league predictable?
Manchester City have won back-to-back Premier League titles and became the first English side to win the domestic treble last season

"I'm not concerned. First of all we should celebrate just how brilliant City are and we should celebrate how Pep Guardiola has transformed the squad," says Masters.
"Secondly, I think the Premier League is unpredictable. If they perform well it won't be any surprise if they win the league but they are going to face competition in my view.
"It was a two-horse race last year but you don't know whether someone is going to emerge from the pack.
"It's only three years ago we were celebrating Leicester's unbelievable win in the Premier League. So things can change very quickly."

The facts were quickly pointed out on here: 'we do not have any record transfer fees in the top 20, we do not have the highest wage bill in the PL, we have not spent as the other top teams." The real financially dominant team now and for the last 20 years - our next door neighbour - just broke the record transfee fee this week for the third time.

The real answer is ...

"Manchester United, Manchester United, Blackburn Rovers, Manchester United, Manchester United, Arsenal, Manchester United, Manchester United, Manchester United, Arsenal, Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester United, Manchester United, Chelsea, Manchester United"

... and ...

"Why is this question only relevant now?"

I'm hoping that an honest journalist out there will take this story up and nail Roan's repeated lies about us together with the BBC blatant bias chasing rag/scouse mass clicks.

Merely because we have been so much better than everyone else..... all the above did exactly the same, we have just upped our game in the last 4/5 years in terms of value and outcomes..... United now have the most expensive squad in premier league history, if I’m not mistaken, was that mentioned??? Was it fek

Our so called PR department needs a complete overhaul and to go on the attack. Except for the Blackburn one off and until Chelsea came along the rags and Arsenal shared the trophy. A trophy that was created out of greed by the formation of the premier league by those two clubs and the scousers and Spurs. It was so successful that the top four was nailed on for years. The riches that gave them from regular champions league qualification ensured that status quo remained. Jack Walker's investment and one of success was tolerated as they knew he couldn't sustain it.

Nobody cared less then how fair it was or if it was ruining competition. Everyone knows the culprits and the reasons behind all this shit. As they have continued unchecked so their boldness and claims have become more outrageous. It has to be stopped.

Our squads are actually almost identical in price now. £773m for them, £787m for us.

We're slightly ahead, and obviously if they sell Lukaku then we'll be a long way ahead.

Liverpool's is £516m as the 3rd highest.

So I don't have any issue with people complaining about the cost of our squad tbh. What's less positive for them is that United have had a higher net spend than us since Ferguson left, and have 1 league Cup to show for it, as opposed to 3 PL trophies, 3 LC trophies, and FA Cup and 2 Community shields plus whatever we win this season.

Roan really is a piece of work. How he survived in his job after being caught mocking the owner of Leicester City just hours after his helicopter death is unbelievable. The BBC seems to operate on a different set of standards to other employers. For example it is supposed to be an impartial organisation but allows its presenters and journalists to make overtly political comments on social media. BBC online has been relentless in its negative borderline racist coverage of City's owners.
