BBC pundits' title predictions

I'm a bit concerned with the arrogance and entitlement, the new breed of City fans are protraying. How horrific and bias, that all the pundits haven't backed City to win the title. All we need to do is change our shirts to red.

Bloody hell even Shearer`s tipped us :

I cannot wait for the Premier League to get started and I am looking forward to being on the first Match of the Day of the season on Saturday night.

I know I am not the only one expecting a special season. I have never known so much anticipation leading up to a new campaign, and there are lots of reasons people are so excited.

Last year, other than the champions Leicester and, at times, Tottenham, the standard of play was pretty poor.

This time, with all the big-name managers involved and the money they have spent - including a world-record fee for Paul Pogba - I am expecting much bigger and better things.

I agree with MOTD host Gary Lineker that Leicester will not retain their title - but that still leaves six teams who can win it: Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham.

A lot can happen between now and the transfer window but, speaking before a ball is kicked, I think it will come down to a fight between the Manchester clubs.

If you pushed me, I would go with City because of new manager Pep Guardiola and the quality of their squad, but it is going to be very close.

Saw the headline on the BBC this morning and decided to read it to see why he's picked us. Absolutely no insight whatsoever, just the bit at the end. Something that any football fan could have come up with. Fuck all about tactics, why we're better, what have we've got that Rags, Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs, Leicester haven't got.

A fucking better manager.

9 pages eh, safe to say i am late to the party. Ok so i am here to laugh at Waddle, a bitter as fuck kfa. Does anyone know why he hates us so much, no blue specs here, that fella never gives us any credit at all, ever. I mean beyond the fact he seemingly knows fuck all about the game he played for years. So did we piss him off at some stage in his playing career or something or does he just hate us for whatever stupid knuckle dragging reason that popped into his simplistic mind.

Also...Spurs! does he think a slightly more cohesive Spurs will ever beat a drilled utd team with Mourinho at the helm, it would never happen. No need to even get to us or Chelsea, they won't be ahead of utd this season, that i am almost sure of. Did they even bolster their team this summer, i don't recall them buying anyone. I admit it would be funny if it turns out they buy a few right at the end because they spent all summer trying to save £3:50p on a deal. Levy will have done it again and cemented himself as a tight fucker who can't see his methods hinder his club, not help.

Exactly what I was thinking, and it's something that Shearer will lazily aim at City and Pep, every time we lose.
I'd even take it a step further, and suggest that the media are deliberately making City favourites, whilst reinventing United as the downtrodden underdog.

There's something to be said for that. The Rags really should be favourites, especially with the pundits. Their manager has experience of not only managing in this league, buy winning it. They've got a proven world class goalscorer, they've got England's best young talent (they're always being labelled with that one), they've got the best keeper in the league, they've got Smalling (England's best young CB), and they've bought the most sought after midfielder in world football. Not my thoughts, this is what pundits are saying regularly. So why aren't they favourites?

Garth Crooks(i know) put Sterling in his team of the week

"Manchester City's game against Sunderland on Saturday started like a scene from 'The Big Sleep' and almost turned into a nightmare!

What happened to the exhilarating football we saw at Barcelona and Bayern Munich under the patron saint of football purists, Pep Guardiola? It was like reliving one of those torturous 'keep ball' performances under Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford last season.

City's only flash of inspiration came from Sterling, who is running himself into the ground these days in a desperate attempt to recapture the form that persuaded City to pay Liverpool a record fee for an English player in the first place.

It's early days, but those pundits who have tipped City to win the title this season must be having second thoughts based on that performance."

fuck knows why, but i just had a quick look on the b.b.c. sportsday page.
the cunts are using this logo for city-related items...
